YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage a spreadsheet to record the data and sources, perform overall analysis and present the results on a regular basis and at the conclusion of the internship;
- Build and manage insectary specific applications using Power Apps;
- Support insectary work 50% of the time;
- Use insectary knowledge to develop relevant data visualization and applications;
- Have full project ownership to build impactful products;
- Perform a formal presentation at the conclusion of the internship, it will be expected and shared with the members of the platform;
- Be paired with a dedicated mentor within Bayer to ensure the success of the project, the mentor will be the main contact for questions, suggestions, advice and educational feedback.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master of Science or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related STEM field;
- Strong Python, Java, R and SQL skills with understanding of software development;
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures;
- Demonstrate a consultative approach with openness to feedback as the task adapts;
- Ability to manage time pro-actively to deliver the task at hand within the deadlines established;
- Generate effective ideas for new ways of communicating projects to target audiences;
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with an ability to take on broad complex information and distil it to an audience in verbal and written form with attention to detail.
