Position Summary
Provide project management services for the Engineering and Operations Division on special projects in order to achieve the goals of the division and cooperative provide technical assistance on the design of the Cooperative distribution system and assist in providing research, analysis, and recommendations for use on the latest developments for the electrical system of the Cooperative provide and assist in the engineering plans, programs, and procedures necessary for the orderly expansion of the Cooperative distribution system and to work and communicate in a team oriented environment in accordance with the vision, mission, and values of the Cooperative.
MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Require Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Prefer a Degree in Electrical Engineering. Prefer significant progress toward EIT certification and undergraduate curriculum including engineering related to the field of electrical power distribution and transmission. Prefer PMP certification. Exception to these requirements may be made only if the applicant demonstrates that he/she is currently pursuing a program of self development through a formal program of extension education.
EXPERIENCE: Require one year of responsible electrical distribution experience involved in engineering design and layout for the expansion of the electric distribution system, power requirements, and related specifications and codes. Specialized education and training may be considered in lieu of or equivalent to a portion of the experience requirements.
