Maryland Dept. of Agriculture seeks a Agricultural Resource Conservation Specialist I

Position Summary  

This is entry level conservation planning work, with opportunity for promotion. Bachelor’s Degree in natural resources, agriculture or a related field required (see job announcement for education and experience substitutions.) Successful candidates will learn to: promote conservation programs; inventory and evaluate practices to reduce soil erosion and improve water quality by performing onsite evaluations; and develop or revise conservation plans for the cooperator or landowner that meets their farming operation needs and promotes the wise use of natural resources.
