Flint Hills Initiative Manager
The Flint Hills Initiative Manager (Manager) oversees an initiative to conserve the last expanse of tallgrass prairie and to protect and enhance native plant and animal communities. The Manager will collaborate with ranchers, landowners, agencies, and other stakeholders to address habitat fragmentation, woody encroachment, and invasive species and to support sustainable grazing and fire.
The ideal candidate will have a background in conservation, science, or a related field; experience with rangeland management; and a track record collaborating with partners to reach conservation goals.
