POSITION SUMMARY                                                                             
Assistant Professor of Quantitative Fisheries Ecology

The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UC Davis announces an Assistant Professor faculty position (9-month) in the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. The position is for a ladder-rank professor. Criteria for appointment include: a Ph.D. or equivalent in fisheries science, ecology and evolutionary biology, statistics and applied mathematics, or a related field, a record of excellence in scholarly research, and demonstrable potential to establish a competitively-funded research program.
 
 
The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in fisheries and marine science and management and/or quantitative methods, be actively involved in undergraduate advising, curricular development and department and university service. The appointee is also expected to guide and mentor graduate students.
