The Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) is comprised of world-renowned faculty whose research and outreach programs influence national and international policymaking on issues ranging from how producers, consumers, and agribusinesses manage risk and adapt to climate change to the impacts of new technologies, environmental regulations, federal laws on profitability and human well-being.

                           


Position Summary  

The Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) is seeking to fill a position for a Graduate Programs Coordinator.  Under supervision of the Director of Graduate Programs, this position will manage all administrative duties related to the graduate program in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) and serve as the department's primary interface with the Graduate College, International Student and Scholar Services, and other organizations outside the department in matters relating to graduate programs.

Duties and responsibilities
 
Education:


Required: Bachelor's degree in agricultural economics, economics, communications, technology or a related field.

Preferred: Master's degree in agricultural economics, economics. Communications, technology or a related field.

Experience:


Required: Experience in organizing and managing program activities and experience in preparing organizational communications.

Preferred: Experience working in graduate programs area at an institution of higher education.

This is a full time Civil Service Program Coordinator position appointed on 12-month service basis.  The expected start date is as soon as possible after August 1, 2021. Salary is commensurate with experience.
