Position Summary  

The University of Missouri invites applications for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position in exercise physiology at all ranks – Assistant Teaching, Associate Teaching or Teaching Professor.

 

Candidates will be evaluated on a record of accomplishment of quality instruction. Having American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or other certifications in the field is also desired.


Duties and responsibilities

This position will involve teaching undergraduate exercise and fitness courses either in person or online for one of our undergraduate and/or graduate degree programs. The mission of the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri is to improve the health of Missourians and the larger population through research, teaching and outreach related to nutrition and physical activity. minimum Qualifications

The successful applicant will have, at a minimum, a Masters or PhD in Exercise Physiology or closely related discipline.
