Position Summary:
This successful program offers the opportunity for college students to gain valuable on-the-job training for the agricultural lending process. Possibility of full-time position upon completion of internship.

Agricultural Finance Intern, located in the Oakdale Branch, Oakdale, CA.
ABOUT YOSEMITE FARM CREDIT:
As a farmer-owned co-op with over 100-year history serving the agriculture community in Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne and Mariposa counties, Yosemite Farm Credit has a commitment to our region’s agriculture. The Association currently provides lending services to approximately 5,000 customers with loan volume over $3.7 billion. Major commodities financed include dairy and almonds, in addition to irrigated field crops, cattle, wine grapes and walnuts. SPRING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
Yosemite Farm Credit provides a unique internship opportunity for college students above and beyond a job. Yosemite Farm Credit is offering a 10-week, paid internship program aimed towards Seniors, located in our Oakdale Branch.
This successful program offers the opportunity for college students to gain valuable on-the-job training for the agricultural lending process. Possibility of full-time position upon completion of internship. Approximate timeline for internship is mid-March through end of May. Join our team for this spring and gain real-world, hands-on experience alongside our dynamic professionals.
- Exposure to credit philosophies
- Learn resources and techniques for prospecting for prospecting new customers
- Observe new loan applications
- Understand forms in the loan assembly
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Promote Farm Credit through various public activities (if applicable)
- Test your understanding of finance and your analytical abilities
- Exposure to appraisal inspections and chattel appraisals
