National Secretary of MANRRS Receives from the University of Georgia (UGA)
The UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) Alumni Association awarded Tracey Troutman the Young Alumni Achievement Award for leading ARS’s outreach and recruitment initiatives, which include student employment as well as partnerships to recruit and retain the most talented students. Through her efforts, Tracey established the department’s student intern workshop, tripling the size of the student programs under her direction. The CAES Alumni Association also recognized how Tracey has continues her legacy in MANRRS by serving as National Secretary. She previously served in the UGA MANRRS chapter executive board as President in 2007.

Tracey also united with current and recent UGA MANRRS leaders at the UGA CAES Alumni Awards Banquet.
Students in the photo above include Thomas Gottilla, Alexis Barnes, Ayodele Daré, and Dr. Christine Akoh. Thomas serves as current President of UGA MANRRS and served as Vice President of Region 2 in 2016. Alexis served as President in 2016 and now works for John Deere thanks to the MANRRS Opportunity Fair. Ayo served as National Undergraduate Parliamentarian in 2016 and currently serves as UGA Senior Conference Chair, Junior MANRRS Chair, and Vice President of Region 2. Dr. Christine served as UGA MANRRS President and National Undergraduate President in 2012.
