Atlanta, GA, July 30, 2024 – The National Society of MANRRS is excited to introduce the 2024-2025 Advisory Board.  Evans, Flagg, and Kinross-Wright join the MANRRS Advisory Board. 

MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences) is pleased to announce the appointment of several distinguished professionals to its Advisory Board. These new members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization, strengthening its commitment to advancing diversity and leadership within the fields of agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.

Courtney White, Advisory Board Chair, expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments. "I am thrilled to continue steering the Advisory Board as part of the MANRRS Executive Committee. Our mission to empower underrepresented voices and identities academically and professionally is more crucial than ever, as we continuously prepare both current leaders, and the next generation, for global success. Through strategic partnerships with academia, government, and industry, and a steadfast focus on networking, career placement, and professional growth, we are poised to amplify our impact and support. Together we will forge innovative opportunities and pave the way for success of every member and stakeholder in the MANRRS Society.”

The Advisory Board plays a critical role in guiding MANRRS’ strategic direction, enhancing programmatic efforts, and supporting initiatives aimed at fostering the next generation of leaders in the fields of agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.

The Advisory Board members will collaborate with MANRRS leadership to provide strategic guidance, support fundraising efforts, and champion the organization’s initiatives.

About Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Science (MANRRS)
MANRRS promotes academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences. It is our goal to provide the student members (middle school through doctoral programs) of our organization with the support to become productive citizens by engaging them in leadership development activities, educational opportunities, job readiness training, and facilitating internship placement and permanent employment, with special emphasis on agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences.
MANRRS encourages and promotes Agriculture, Natural Resources, and related STEM programs in an effort to interest and attract underrepresented students and professionals into pursuing educational and career opportunities in these respective areas.
